My Uchi Experience

Several days ago I came across an uchiTopic, on a new social media app called Uchi, entitled “You Know You Are” and I proceeded to answer all 10 questions. A few examples include:

You Know You Are…

- Getting old when…

- Still young when…

- Tired when…

- Sick when…

- Happy when…

They were fun and amusing and I really didn’t contemplate the group of questions too deeply other than to answer them according to what immediately came to mind.

Yesterday morning, I noticed two of my Uchi Friends had also answered this uchiTopic so I began reading their answers. WOW! In the span of a few minutes I was laughing, thinking, wondering and, to be honest, felt an incredible amount of insight and understanding as to how these two friends “see” the world. I previously had no idea!

In the span of a few minutes I was laughing, thinking, wondering and, to be honest, felt an incredible amount of insight and understanding as to how these two friends “see” the world.

Just by reading their answers to seemingly basic questions I felt an ease and comfort of connection to each of them. It was 6:30am and I certainly wasn’t in any condition to have an actual conversation and that was OK.

In a matter of minutes, I felt the bond with my friends, who both live in different states than me, and that feeling of closeness and connection continues to feel good today…. more than 24 hours later.

In fact, as I share this experience now, I’m getting what I can only believe is another dose of oxytocin (a.k.a. the “love” hormone) all over again. And it feels damn good!
